4 NONE BLONDS

I had a call from Tom Whalley at Interscope records asking if I would check out a new signing they had called the 4 None Blondes, the band had asked to meet me as their favourite record at the time was “I touch myself” by the Divinyls who I had recently produced.

I went to meet the band and see them play live in San Fransisco, in the famous Haight Ashbury District. When I heard them play “Whats Up” and looked at Linda Perry singing and rolling her eyes I knew instantly this is a great song and is going to be a big hit.

I went on to produce the album and there International Hit Song ‘Whats Up’ We hit #1 in 17 countries.
